Whispering Springs Golf Course is one of my favorites in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. I just adore all the white walls in their reception hall, and hidden gems on some of the golf course holes. It was a great day for Jacob & Brooke. The girls were getting ready at Riverwood Salon and then all met up at the church to finish getting ready. Took the party bus to an urban location near downtown Fond du Lac, and then we made our way to the golf course. Had such a blast riding around the course on golf carts and eating our weight in delicious macaroons.
Brooke has a pearl necklace that she wore that day, it is an add-a-pearl necklace. In her family, they start this necklace when she was an infant and each year she get a pearl for Christmas and birthdays. The point of the necklace is to add pearls every year to the chain until your wedding day, so it can be worn on your wedding day in hopes to have a full string of pearls. Brooke's mom had the sweetest reaction when she finally put it around Brooke's neck.
Jake and Brooke met when they worked at Culver's together in high school. For their proposal, they took a trip to the Wisconsin Dells, and went out to eat at The Field's Restaurant. After dinner they went for a walk in a wooded area on the Wilderness Golf Course and at the top of the hill where there was a large lilac bush, Jake got down on one knee and proposed. They will be going on a mini-honeymoon up to Door County, but for their year anniversary they will be going to Greece. I have already told Brooke that she needs to pack me in her suitcase! Any who, it was a fantastic wedding day, and I am excited to share a little bit of their fantastic wedding day with you.
