Summer Golf Course Wedding at Whispering Springs in Fond du lac, WI // Jacob + Brooke

Whispering Springs Golf Course is one of my favorites in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. I just adore all the white walls in their reception hall, and hidden gems on some of the golf course holes. It was a great day for Jacob & Brooke. The girls were getting ready at Riverwood Salon and then all met up at the church to finish getting ready. Took the party bus to an urban location near downtown Fond du Lac, and then we made our way to the golf course. Had such a blast riding around the course on golf carts and eating our weight in delicious macaroons.

Scheig Center Memorial Park Wedding in Appleton, WI // Derek + Kimberly

Derek and Kimberly have the best wedding anniversary day, hands down! I'm not biased or nothing but my husband and I were married on August 13th, five years ago. They said their vows before family and friends at the Scheig Center in Appleton, Wisconsin at Appleton Memorial Park and enjoyed dinner, dancing, and a couple of celebratory cigars at the Grand Meridian.

Their wedding was casual and relaxed and exactly what the two of them encompass. The day, even if it was a bit hot outside for a June Wisconsin wedding, was simple and full of family and love. Having been together for almost 5 years already, it was time to make it official at one of Fox Valley area's newest venues. Fitting because both have strong influences living on farms and raising dairy cattle.

Their wedding day was just the same. At her family's church, to stopping at a willow tree that not only her parents but her sister had their wedding photographed under.

Sometimes it's good to take a step back, relax and have little fun. A friend from college also has her own photography business and she needed some help second shooting a wedding at The Oaks Golf Course in Madison. It was a simple wedding with Jessie and Mathew. No bridal party, just the two of them.

Ali contacted me a little less than 2 months before her wedding. She was trying to pick up so many pieces that should have never went wrong for her wedding, one being that her photographer quit on her. My heart ached when she told me this and so many other things that didn't go her way when planning their big day.

This day was filled with so much love from family and friends. It was a gorgeous, hot, but beautiful day. I met Rachael in Lomira as the girls got ready. I could feel her excitement, and I'm sure the other ladies did too. When I asked her how it felt like to be married, she responded "I get to have babies!" Everyone laughed, but from the comments from other guests during the day, these two are more than ready to start a family of their own.

UW Oshkosh Alumni Conference Center Wedding in Oshkosh, WI // Christopher & Kaitlin

So it's a funny story how we "met". My husband and Kaitlin worked together for the same company. The two of us girls got to be good friends, and my husband & I ended up renting her house. So she, now they, are our landlords and they were my bride & groom for the day. We couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous Friday afternoon and evening in Oshkosh.
